Does anyone out there know what there might be in the way of opportunities
oif teaching Business English - with a speciality in management skills - in
Spain? Particularly Majorca?
I've been working particulalrly with Senge's 5 disciplines and adult
training/presentation technique.
I plan to be on Majorca after the New Year.
Answer:
There are lots of opportunities to teach Business English in most
non-English speaking places in the world. Is this not the most common reason
why people study English? Does it not make sense for these people to take a
little business English training after investing great time and money in
their regular EFL studies?
The biggest obstacle is the insistence of the EFL profession to use business
English material that does not exceed the business capabilities of the
average EFL teacher (which is not very much).
In my opinion, effective business English instructors must gain some
business knowledge as well as being good EFL teachers. There is no shortcut
