Question:
please tell me if you know the best way to learn the italian
language?
Answer:
1) Try to save enough money to afford to live abroad for one year;
2) In the meanwhile, post one or more classified ads on specialized
Italian publications (such as "Secondamano" in Milan or "Porta
Portese" in Rome), saying that you're learning Italian and looking for
pen-pals to make language exchange by correspondence. Exaggerate your
traits in describing yourself.
3) Among the replies you'll get, try to find the most gullible types,
then tell them a lot of bullshit about you in your letters. They'll
believe you.
4) After almost one year, when you'll have mastered enough Italian
words to get around fairly well, get a discount one-way air ticket to
Italy and depart with light baggage (you won't need so much of it
there).
5) Once there, start visiting your pen-pals one by one, telling them
that you had been robbed of your luggage when you were just out of the
airport by some african/albanian/gypsy/ex-yugoslavian, and you barely
managed to save your passport and personal belongings, but the
suitcase with all your money and marvelous gifts for your pen friend
was definitely gone. Then start living off your pen-friend, obviously
making little house chores for them and running errands like going to
the post office to pay bills. You'll learn a lot more about Italian
ways and culture in a single day than in an one-year language course.
When you feel that your host is starting to be getting tired of you,
leave for the next pen-pal and start it all over. If you manage to get
six pen-pals and to get hosted by them for about two months each,
you'll find yourself with a good knowledge of Italian language (not
mentioning that of Italy and Italians) and with a good portion of your
money still in your pockets.
