i am so sick of being around spanish people and hearing nothing but
spanish. i can sit in the breakroom at work and not hear 1 word of
english. we are in america. if you want to live in our country, then
learn our language. if you dare tell this to a spanish person he will
say you are racist and all that crap. no, i just feel that if i am in
america and english is our official language, i shouldnt hear spanish
being spoken. anyone else agree with me?

enough to be absolutely sure though
I know I'm probably wasting my time typing this, but, if you went to another
country, like France for instance, whether to work or to visit, and you
weren't quite fluent in French, but had co-workers that were native English
speakers like yourself... when talking to them in public or where any
Frenchman could hear you you'd insist on speaking French, right?
