Question:
I Want to take an intensive English course in 2001. It's not to begin
studies in English but to use English as second language at work. My bigger
difficulty is understanding and speaking.
Concordia and McGill offer an intensive course. I don't know if one of the 2
universities is more appropriate for me.
Does someone can help me?
Answer:
You seem to have a pretty good grasp of English anyhow. You
should pick the one that is predominantly English speaking, for
better immersion. In my day, that was McGill. Of course, then we
had St. James Street, Sun Life, and streetcars.
