have any of the internet's readers taught ESL/EFL without a degree?

Question: I haven't yet finished my degree, but would like to spend some time teaching English abroad (preferably in Germany or Hungary, though I'd be happy to go further afield). Just after a casual web search, it seems that most language schools are looking for graduates. But have any of the internet's readers taught ESL/EFL without a degree? Is it possible? What I'm hoping for is the chance to teach for a year or so, and I'd be happy as a part-timer. I'm also not worried at all about advancement. I'm Irish btw, and a native-speaker of course!

Answer: I learned to teach ESL at a community college by using experience gained from volunteering at my church for 5 years. With a good book, some sensitivity to the students and innate teaching ability, I think anyone could do it. Of course, the first semester/year may be extrea challanging
