i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a thai native
wanting to learn english in the seattle area? while there are programs
to teach english (like the university of washington's $2000/quarter
program), if the person teaching english also speaks thai, i figured
it would be a plus.

Checkout comunity colledges. I checked the ESL department at the one
near me and they gave me a LOOOONG list of classes they offer free all
over the county. Just show up to any one you want no charge no
registration.
