I need help from an English grammar teacher or equivalent, anybody help?

Question: I realize that in at least three of my responses to posts today that I have got myself completely screwed up using words like "themself", "themselves". Especially sentences like: You might ask her/him what they think of themself? themselves? HELP!

I need help from an English grammar teacher or equivalent.

Answer: Not an English grammar teacher, or necessarily even equivalent. However, in my professional writing I use the plural they, them, themselves version: You might ask them what they think of themself? Although I believe this is still technically considered incorrect. I generally prefer to try to restructure the sentence/question to avoid this problem as completely as possible.

The only other useful thing I can offer is, s/he for she/he.
