I want to learn the Grammar of England,Please help me?

Question: I am from germany and in two weeks my father and me would fly to London. And now I want to learn the Grammar of England.

Answer: problem. English doesn't have much grammar. Only two verb endings in the present tense; only one word for "the"; only one word for "a". Word order in a sentence never varies as in German, Most English people and all Americans rarely use more than the present, past, future and conditional tenses. Past perfect, future perfect, subjunctive etc. etc. have disappeared. Basic English consists, I am told, of about 500 words. Don't worry you'll get by nicely; most Germans, Dutch, Danish and Scandinavians do.
