Does anyone know of any books on English Grammar worth reading?

Question: Does anyone know of any books on English Grammar worth reading? Jesus I need to brush up. Looking at my sp I realized slowly my brain is turning into mush. My grammar skills are going to shit!

Answer: "Elements of Style," (Strunk & White)--definitely.

I've also found a simple little book called "Woe Is I" by Patricia T. O'Connor. She's a former editor of the New York Times Book Review, as written guest columns for William Safire in the NYT magazine section, and conducted grammar courses for NYT writers.

It's very readable, with info in small bites (eg, "Saying is Believing: How to Write What You Mean," and "Comma Sutra: The Joy of Punctuation.") It's actually the first reference I grab when I'm in doub.t
