Why did the letter sent to Delenn has the English spelling of her name? If
it was from Valen(Sinclar), which I believe it was, wouldn't he address
the letter in Minbari since no one on Minbar would understand English
until 225x?
Answer:
A number of questions about that note. Who delivers it to her? I
can't imagine holding on to it until some date to open if she had it
all along. My hunch is that Sinclair wrote it and left it in her
quarters after he arrived. Which of course teases us since the
writing is the same.
And if it was in the same box as Sinclair's and FedExed to her on the
station, well, by writing it in English, whoever wrote it ensured that
the contents wouldn't be read and understood *too* early. And equally
obviously, whoever wrote them had to be one of our time travellers.
