Question:
How do rsber's apply english?
For example, do you line the shot up center ball, then move your bridge?
Or, do you line up and move your back hand, or line up straight at the
point of impact?
I know that I don't do it the same way every time, it depends on the
distance between cueball, and object ball.
How's about everybody else?
Answer:
I think you'll find rather a large variety of approaches. Majority of the
time, I simply approach and address the shot directly with whatever English I'm
going to use. Only on rare occasions do I use a two-step approach of aiming
the shot center-ball, then parallel shifting for the English. When I'm "in
stroke" and confident, I never use the two-step alignment. It is a fallback
systematic approach for those times when I can't seem to "feel" proper
alignment (a problem that seems to heighten on inside-English cut shots).
