Question:
Does anyone know of software that they would recommend to someone who
speaks English as a second language, but wants to help reduce their
accent? I figure there must be something out there that will say a word
or phrase, then allow the person to record and listen to their voice in
some sort of comparison
Answer:
Rosetta Stone is a pretty good beginning level to fluency software program
but it is pricey. Also, Addison Wesley/Longman has some good programs. I
do not know if they have they capability to record voices but I am sure a
good techology person could figure out some way for the student to record
and play back
