Jo- how was security the last time you flew out of Boston? How could they
have hijacked *4* planes? This is so unbelievable and horrible.
Answer:
Considering I walked through security at United while two young women with
English as a second language discussed their corn-braided hair, as I handed
a ziplock bag of 35 dark cannisters of film to another young man and said
"Please hand check this, I don't want it ex-rayed" and he fondled the bag
for 3 seconds then passed it behind the machine to me, Without opening
it....Can you imagine what those cannisters Might be able to carry??
Also, I had at least 3 knives on me or in my carry on bag (I just heard that
the hijackers used knives, not guns). I have a small swiss-army knife on my
photo-vest, a utility knife on my keychain, and a buckknife in my carry-on
bag. I got through with all three, both ways, on both flights to Arizona in
March and Denver (on United) this past July.
On the way back from AZ, I had a 12 inch bowie knife (a gift) in my checked
bag....but still.
Gee, and to think they were so concerned recently about the safety of their
passengers....
