the best way is to have an educated native speaker who will
converse with you and correct you. Most trained ESL teachers are extremely
good, too.
The best way to learn to speak a language is to speak it, the best way to learn
to read it is to read it, and so on. But in my opinion, the best starting place
is to learn it orally, If you read first, you will fix the wrong idea of the
sounds in your mind. This is difficult to rectify.
If I were going to teach someone a language, with the aim of fluency, I would
not let him read or write for six months
