Question: what the best english grammar book available today?

Answer: I used to use a book when I was a TEFL teacher. I think it was called "English grammar in use" though I wouldn't swear to it. If it helps, the intermediate book was blue and, I think, the basic book was green. It had teaching and exercises and pictures and I thought it was great. It was by a chap called Murphy, but unfortunately not this one
