What's your favorite/the best ESL bookstore where you are?
In New York City, the big Barnes & Noble textbook store on the southeast
corner of 5th Avenue at 18th Street has two big ESL sections -- one near
the Education section (which is also an interesting source) and one in
the back of the textbook section.
I also find ESL books in the Spanish-language bookstores on 14th St and
in a Chinese bookstore on East Broadway and another on Elizabeth St.
Do you know of any other good ones in New York City?
How about where you are? Where do you get your ESL books?
Answer:
My favorite is Alta Bookstore - in Burlingame California. They sell
nothing but ESL texts and have a nice showroom. They also will send you
their complete catalogue upon request.
